A very beautiful Sting Ray, this car has caught the attention of my camera before. The owner is a cool guy, and drove well at about 41 seconds.
This V8 Thunderbird is very fast, loud, and rough. And with the good driver behind the wheel, it came in 9th overall with a 38.638.
Miatas seemed to be the second most popular kind of car at this autocross (understandably so) the fastest of which claimed 22 overall in the raw times (the blue number 52.)
Badass LS engine swapped Chevelle. If I recall correctly it was running on drag radials, and still ran a very respectable 42.747.
I love Supras so much. I chatted with the owner and he said it makes about 600rwhp on street gas. Unfortunately it started raining and he wasn't really able to make all that good of a pass, not that a 600rwhp car can do all that well on a tight autocross course. But this is one sexy impressive machine.
This was arguably the second loudest car at the event. The 5.0 sounded great.
Non SS cobalt. Would probably have been my main competition if I had been man enough to run my car.
Holy body-roll and understeer batman. Was entertaining as hell to watch.
These had to have taken balls to drive on an autocross course. You are allowed to drive a pick up at this particular event, granted its not 4 wheel drive.
I wish the owner of this Saab would use 9001 as his driver number instead of 9000.
I think I will save the rest of the pictures for a part 3.
