My coverage of this long ago event is way past overdue. The fact that I have not touched the website at all in many months show just how lazy I am. I have around six folders of pictures I need to upload. I should get to work. You can tell how far behind I am because this is the September event, and not the October season finale.
I actually drove this autocross, so I did not get the chance to get photos of the first half of the autocross, but I still got plenty of pictures.
Yep, there's more after the read more button.
This sexy S2000 was very rapid, posted the second fastest time of the day.
This is actually kind of sad, because I'm pretty sure this 240sx is now totaled and the owner is slowly recovering from the unfortunate accident. I guess this happens when you wait to post pictures for so long.
Clean looking Civic.
Quick and clean Civic Si, that was a regular at these autocrosses, that posted a 10th best time.
Another Civic that regularly attended. Also fairly quick.
If I remember correctly, this Civic was K20 swapped, turbo'd and running on E85. If I remember right.
Corvettes and stuff. The 64 wins my heart every time.
Miatas and stuff. Yep, there were lots, like there usually are.
Happy to see some Mazda 6's enjoying the festivities.
This 'Speed 3 squealed and torqued steered its way all the way to 5th place overall. I drive a Mazda 3 (non-turbo,) I wish i could drive this well.
Some Mustangs and stuff. The fastest of which was the Cobra.
Yes, there was a Pantera there
350 Zed.
280 Zed. With "Ellis Juan" heart transplant.
Very rapid AWD Celica. A rare Carlos Sainz edition. Came in 11th overall.
One of two red RX-7's that were at the event. One of them came in third overall.
Spinning out in a FWD car. Cool.
This car is currently one color rather then 70 colors. It is the car I co-drove. I did not do good. I was too nervous driving somebody else's car. Not to mention it was my fist ever autocross.
This car was a regular at the events.
Nice to you see somebody in this unpopular generation of Camaro.
This car is commonly on my site, because it is very entertaining to watch, and I went to college with the owner.
Neat Thunderbird that is an autocross regular. Last time I talked to the owner (which was over a year ago) it was running cut springs, the original 4.6 V8 and completely stripped. Not sure what sort of setup the car runs now.
I wish there were more 510's in this area.
Yeah, this was entertaining as hell to watch.
