Ferraris and Other Exotics at The Crescent Classic Rally
The Crescent Classic was really something else. It's so great to see exotic cars so near my own home. Just a short drive away on the always entertaining highway 62 (unless you're stuck behind somebody slow) and you're there, in beautiful Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
The beautiful Crescent Hotel.
This was the view that greeted us at the hotel. Ominous looking rain clouds. I was not able to stay all that long, because it did start raining fairly unpleasantly.

Rogers Arkansas Autocross August 26, 2012 Part 2
And here is the extremely delayed part 2 of the Arkansas Show and Go autocross from Rogers, Arkansas. Some very impressive cars did make it out, too bad the rain made a lot of the run times seem irrelevant.
I was glad to see the "MI6 Apporoved" Lotus make it out. It always has a nice sound thanks to the turbo and bov.

Arkansas Show and Go 7/15/12 Part 1
This is the third one of these events this year. The course layout of this event was very different from the last one, so the times will not be comparable. The event is sponsored by the 4 State Vettes Club, hence the large amounts of Corvettes participating.
This beautiful Impala was unfortunately not out there all that long, sadly it may have developed mechanical problems.
If I drove a Lotus i would probably tape it up to protect it too. Not that I can fit into a Elise. The car is even smaller in person that you can imagine.
This Cayman owner was not holding back, posting a 37 second run good enough for 6th place.

This MR2 looked like it was pretty well sorted and cornered pretty flatly for a 39 second run.

More Pictures From the 6/10/12 Arkansas Show and Go Autocross
I've been a bit lazy on posting the action shots from the autocross, plus I've been waiting so that I can add the time results to some of the pictures.
Such a beautiful GT500, ran a 49ish, I think.
I think this Z06 posted the fastest time last time, and this time posted a 45 second run.
Wonderfully clean Fiero posted 50ish second run.
This MI6 approved Lotus Esprit posted a 53 second run.
This Trans Am seemed to be quite a handful to drive, and was also quite loud, unfortunately the results website seemed to only have results up for his other car, which I didn't even know he had driven this time. Could be an error on their site.
