Rogers Arkansas Autocross August 26, 2012 Part 2

And here is the extremely delayed part 2 of the Arkansas Show and Go autocross from Rogers, Arkansas. Some very impressive cars did make it out, too bad the rain made a lot of the run times seem irrelevant.

075 076 I was glad to see the "MI6 Apporoved" Lotus make it out. It always has a nice sound thanks to the turbo and bov. 332 233 234
224 163 088 The Miata turnout was high as usual. 327 141 324 123 This 5.0 did make quite a nice racket. In my opinion, it is the best of the current batch of American muscle cars. 307 That's not to say that any of the other American muscle cars are bad. I absolutely love the combination of retro and in-your-face-badass styling of the Challenger. 318 146 The current generation Camaro is quite the eye catching beast as well. Unfortunately all those of us blessed with the gift of height may have issues with the very low roofline. 309 This completely stripped out Thunderbird is a regular at these Rogers autocrosses. The 4.6 V8 sounded good as usual. 083 082 068 This AWD Celica is a very rare Carlos Sainz Edition. Not many of these made it to the states. This one ran very strong all day, and in fact was running really strong even in the downpour. At the end of the day it ended up snatching the second fastest time of the day with a 42.526. 328 136 137 279 118 231 Two different examples of the fact that Mustangs look good in red. 215 214 311 Even though the S2000 only went out of production a few years ago, it seems as if they are already being regarded as classics by enthusiasts all over the world. The number 31 car actually placed third overall with a time of 42.932. 256 194 192 203 193 In my opinion the CTS-V is the arguably best American car ever made. Whats not to like? Great styling, four doors, Corvette engine, good suspension, available manual transmission, and above all else, it's a Cadillac.
